On Tuesday- You will have time to revise your short story in class.

On Thursday- Short stories are due in class with PQP sheets.

Today in class:

• We discussed the PQP sheets that we completed for the authors in our peer review groups.
• We read "Through the Tunnel" by Doris Lessing, which is available online as a PDF.
• For homework, you need to choose a key detail in the first paragragh and trace the detail through the remainder of the story. For Friday you must bring in an annotates "The Tunnel". I will collect the annotations for a grade, and you will use the annotations to complete an in class writing assignment.

Updates for the week of 11/28

Today in class we:

Read our classmates' short stories and completed a PQP sheet for each of the short stories.

The homework is to complete the reading/review and PQP sheets for each draft.

Turned in copies of the rough draft of the sestina.

Homework over Thanksgiving Break

• Be sure to complete the sestina, type up a copy and bring 3 copies of the rough draft of the sestina to class with you on 11/28.
• Have a great week!

Due in class 11/20

• Your three copies of your completed short story are due in class on Monday. Remember that you must come to class with the copies in order to receive credit for the assignment.
